Our Commitment
At Tin Paper Scissors, we take pride in accurately describing and photographing every item we sell. Because our inventory consists entirely of one-of-a-kind vintage and antique collectibles, we want you to feel confident in every purchase.
Item Descriptions and Condition
Every item is carefully photographed and graded using our condition rating system (Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor). We disclose all known flaws, wear, and imperfections in our product descriptions and images. Please review all photos and the condition notes carefully before purchasing.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery under the following conditions:
- Item not as described: If an item arrives with a defect or condition issue that was not disclosed in the listing, we will gladly accept a return for a full refund including original shipping costs.
- Damaged in shipping: If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
- Change of mind: Because each item is unique and cannot be restocked, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. If you have concerns about an item before purchasing, please contact us and we’ll be happy to provide additional photos or details.
Return Process
- Contact us at info@tinpaperscissors.com within 14 days of receiving your item.
- Include your order number and reason for the return.
- For damage claims, include photos of the item and packaging.
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Items must be returned in the same condition and packaging in which they were received.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was not as described or was damaged in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
- Partial refunds may be issued if an item is returned in a different condition than when it was shipped.
Exchanges
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our vintage collectibles, we cannot offer direct exchanges. If you return an item, you are welcome to purchase any other available item separately.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items altered, cleaned, or restored by the buyer after delivery
- Items not returned in original condition and packaging
- Items returned after the 14-day return window
